Serves as the language technology specialist in the translation team. Typical responsibilities include the following:


1. Reports to the Translation Manager
2. Should be fully aware of all translation tools and their use
3. Prepares glossaries and terminology lists for all projects
4. Prepares translation memories and helps his team make use of them

 

Qualifications: 1-year experience in specialized translation.

 

General Skills:
1- Very good linguistic skills.
2- Knowledgeable of specialized terminology.
3- Capable of handling the stress of work under intense pressure and tight deadlines.
4- Good understanding of the following applications and tools:
a. Microsoft office
b. Adobe Acrobat Professional ME
c. Trados.
d. Multiterm
e. SDLX
f. Tag Editor
